Urbanise.com Limited (Urbanise) (ASX:UBN) announced today that it has entered into a Hosted Services Agreement (HSA) with Smart Process and Control Ltd (Smart Process) – a leading UK based distributor of energy metering products.
Under the agreement, Smart Process will use the Urbanise platform to provide remote asset monitoring and energy management services to its customers – delivering real time energy consumption and asset management information.
Commenting on the announcement, Smart Process Director Graham Lockhart explained that integration of the Urbanise platform into its technology offering was central to the company’s transition from ‘product supplier’ to ‘service provider’.

The Urbanise platform takes us one step closer to achieving this goal – enabling Smart Process to differentiate its offer and expand into new growth markets – both strategically and geographically.”

In 2014, Smart Process installed 4,000 meters in more than 400 buildings across the UK, Portugal, Belgium and The Netherlands.
